a pear shaped cabochon amethyst forming the abdomen, the head, thorax and wings cluster set throughout with rose cut diamonds, the head further set with two oval cabochon ruby eyes, texture engraved to the legs and chased to the underside of the wings, mounted in gold and with silver to the diamond set elements, the amethyst facetted to the pavilion, the gold testing as 18ct
