the asymmetric gold panel flowerhead formed of overlapping petals with a hammered finish, claw set off-centre with a single leaf-carved sapphire of pear shaped outline, the gold testing as 14ct, signed 'CARTIER', serial numbered 1879 and 9073 (or 9075, indistinct)
