  • the oval cabochon pink sapphire of approximately 2.00ct, hung within diamond framed aperture, the frame of inverted pear shape with foliate scroll flourishes below, suspending a fringe of nine tassels alternating lines of articulated calibre cut pink sapphires with lines of seed pearls, all with diamond box and round collet terminals, the central cabochon stone below a pearl, ruby and diamond collet line and all surmounted by a diamond circle motif with diamond oval bale, all millegrain and collet set in platinum, the diamonds of old brilliant and single cut, French assaymarks (the pre-1912 eagle heads for platinum), partial vertical French workshop mark 'J_' possibly that of Jospeh Chaumet, bale with 'T950' probably an import stamp
