  • with eight principal pear shaped facetted Ceylon sapphires, to the front a line of diamond set floral and foliate clusters spaced by diamond ribbon bows supporting diamond laurel leaf and knife bar swags, spaced by and hung within each swag with the eight pear shaped Ceylon sapphire and diamond cluster drops, the largest one forming the lower drop, or when worn as tiara the uppermost, all old cut stones, collet and millegrain scalloped edged set in platinum and gold, the necklace worn upon a fine chain necklace back, signed to back of lowest drop 'JEC & Co' (rubbed) and with serial number possibly 'D.9779', together with a tool and frame for wear as a tiara, acompanied by AGL report no. 1138217 giving a Ceylon origin opinion for the sapphires and that they show no evidence of heat treatment
