the bombe front pave set with old cushion cut diamonds graduating larger to the middle around a central old pear cut diamond, rose cut diamond points between, opening to reveal a glazed locket compartment, polished gold back, inscribed within '1875-1896', upon a cushion diamond navette cluster suspension loop, partial assaymark to suspension ring possibly French Mercury's head, the locket bearing a small collection of dried four-leaf clovers, approximately 12.75cts of diamonds in all, together with an associated late 19th century gold snakelink chain necklace spaced by twelve small bouton shaped pearls, upon a scroll engraved barrel clasp, the pearls of cream body colour largely green and rose overtones, both locket and chain testing as 18ct gold, also together with a case with later fitted bed, reversible for display Heart 3 x 3cm / 1 1/8 x 1 1/8''
