  • each fanning side formed of three graduated bold steps in polished gold and half pave set with diamonds, the step ends bevelled and channel set with square and rectangular cut green tourmalines, two single square green tourmalines flanking the centre, each clip detaching for wear separately, the diamonds of round brilliant and single cut, both clips signed 'CARTIER', the double clip fitting unsigned but featuring the two central tourmalines integral to the design as a single brooch, mount testing as 18ct gold and platinum to the diamonds, approximately 2.50cts of diamonds in all, accompanied by IAJA report no. XP2414-271025 signed by Olivier Bachet declaring that in his opinion this is a genuine Cartier item from Cartier New York, circa 1940
