Gold, cabochon emerald, sapphire and diamond Indianesque bangle by Cartier, Paris, the upper section in the form of a bold gold leaf cap studded with a line of nine graduated sugarloaf and round cabochon emeralds,
two further emeralds to either side, the upper emeralds interspersed with round brilliant cut diamonds, the side emeralds centring spaced lines of small round facetted sapphires, the gold leaf cap ground further enhanced with a band of concave dimples beneath the emeralds, with ropetwist wire edging and raised entwined scroll to the sides, the back of the bangle of plain tapering polished finish, the upper cap opening upon a hinge to one side and secured upon a sliding catch, all in 18ct gold except for the diamonds claw set in platinum, signed 'CARTIER PARIS', with Cartier SA crossed C's workshop mark, French assaymarks for gold and platinum, serial number possibly 06491 (2nd and 4th digits indistinct), approximately 4cts of diamonds in all, accompanied by IAJA Expertise report no. XP1717-310724 signed by Olivier Bachet & Bernhard Berger declaring that in their opinion this is 'a genuine Cartier item' from Cartier Paris Inside length approximately 17cm / 6�''

Late 19th century five stone ruby ring, c.1890, the graduated cushion cut Burma rubies, approximately 4.10cts, with eight rose cut diamond points in between, to a pierced and scroll engraved gallery, fluted shoulders, mounted in 18ct gold, stamped '18CT', accompanied by GCS report no. 5776-4880 giving a Burma origin opinion for the rubies and that they show no evidence of heat treatment
