Early 20th century single stone sapphire, pearl and diamond pendant by Cartier, Paris c.1910, workshop mark of Henri Picq, together with a diamond set necklace, the pendant set with a round cut Ceylon sapphire 14.65ct,
with four triangular cut diamond bracket accents, suspending an 8.70ct white bouton natural pearl from twin oblong and round cut diamond line sections, the pearl with triangular diamond surmount, the whole topped by an oblong cut diamond suspension loop, on an articulated diamond collet necklace spaced by navette shaped diamond cluster links, mounted in platinum, unsigned, maker's mark of Henri Picq, French assaymark, accompanied by AGL report no. CS54048 for the sapphire, giving the Ceylon origin and that the stone shows no evidence of heat treatment, and GIA report no. 2155700757 stating that the pearl is natural and of saltwater origin, showing no evidence of treatment, accompanied by IAJA Expertise report no. XP1683-170424 signed by Olivier Bachet & Bernhard Berger declaring that in their opinion this is a 'genuine Cartier item' by Cartier Paris, Special Order, circa 1910Length of pendant 6cm / 2 3/8''
