  • formed of a principal tabular emerald, ovalish outline and Indian-carved with a flower stem and leaves, of deep section and a flower to the underside, accented around for flare with three curving buff-topped calibre cut emeralds, upon a curved scrollover panel end pave set with round brilliant and single cut diamond ground and central channel of graduating baguette diamonds, the deep emerald facetted around the sides and with baguette diamond uprights, signed 'CARTIER' 'MADE IN FRANCE', serial number 03565 (last digit unclear), lozenge workshop mark of PLJV for Auguste Ploujavy, and another mark beign an export mark, accompanied by IAJA Expertise report no. XP1499-041223 signed by Olivier Bachet and Bernhard Berger declaring that in their opinion, the clip is 'a genuine Cartier item', by Cartier Paris
