  • the rounded rectangular brooch centred by a round brilliant cut diamond, surrounded by smaller old cut diamonds, all millegrain open set, the rock crystal body of the brooch carved with a repetitive Indianesque design of leaves and swirls, the edge of the brooch formed of a single row of old round cut diamonds, all mounted in platinum, signed to the bottom edge 'CARTIER PARIS LONDRES NEW YORK' and serial number to top edge '6575', French assymark (eagle's head: at this time for platinum), accompanied by (PDF scan of) IAJA Expertise report no. XP1212-010923 signed by Olivier Bachet & Bernhard Berger stating that in their opinion this is a genuine Cartier item, from Cartier Paris, 1912
